The system around the money

Keep currencies, modifiers, and payment history visible.

One ledger for every movement

Accounts, invoices, expenses, and payouts update the same ledger.

Context stays attached

Link clients, contacts, projects, and vendors to the records they explain.

Multiple currencies, one view

Keep the authored currency on each record, then compare in workspace totals.

Reports read the same ledger

Cash flow, profit, tax, and balances come from the records already entered.

Rules before the total

Discounts, tax modifiers, and payment history remain visible and auditable.

Recurring work keeps its history

Each occurrence gets its own date, amount, and transaction.

Five source types

Choose the source by what the money represents.

Sources describe financial events. Transactions record their cash movement, so a source may be unpaid or partially paid.

Invoice

Incoming source for a provided service. Use Client, Project, and Entries to describe the work. Transactions record its cash, so an invoice can be unpaid or partially paid.

Income

Other incoming cash source, such as capital, inheritance, or product receipts. A buyer Client is optional; no service-work relationship is required.

Expense

Outgoing source for a service from the selected Vendor, whether an individual or company. Client and Project are optional. Without a Client, the source is owned by the Workspace.

Payout

Outgoing source paid to the selected individual Contact for their service. Client, Project, and a related customer Invoice are optional. Without a Client, the source is owned by the Workspace. If someone is both Vendor and Contact, the selected role decides Expense or Payout.

Asset

Non-cash wealth holding. Its acquisition can have a separate cash Transaction; the holding and the payment remain distinct.

Entries are reusable priced units for products, services, or plans. Quantity and net unit price calculate the source amount, and saved applied values do not change when a catalog item changes. Modifiers apply a documented fixed or percentage increase or decrease to a selected Entry or source amount.

When you need more control

Use the workspace, API, or CLI.

Keep the same records wherever you work.
